Hello, I'm Mark! 

I started making candles as a creative outlet, mostly making gifts for friends and family who wanted something thoughtful and nicely presented.

Over time, more people started asking for them, especially because they liked the simple and customised packaging. That’s when I decided to launch Jervois Road Gifts.

I launched Jervois Road Gifts in 2022 and named it after Jervois Road in Auckland, where I spent time helping at a local dementia home and made a lot of good memories.

Since then, it’s grown from candles into gifting. Today, I make handcrafted soy candles and put together premium NZ gift boxes for birthdays, settlements, housewarmings, client gifts and other occasions.

I still pack every order myself, with the same idea I had when I started: something simple, thoughtful and nice to receive.
